King's Fall Raid, Fri, Jan 22
Sign up here for the King's Fall raid on Friday, Jan 22 at 9pm Eastern/6pm Pacific. We usually run for about three hours more or less. I'm guessing that we'll probably try to complete the Golgoroth Challenge on normal mode. 290 light level should be good enough, assuming normal mode. Depending on the light and experience level of the team, we can consider attempting hard mode. If you are one of the first five posters, we will be counting on you. If you need to change plans, we understand, but post here again as soon as possible so we can find a replacement. If there are already five participants, please consider signing up as an alternate. Stuff happens, even at the last minute
Just realized, the first of the Friday raids was already three months ago (Oct 16). In those three months, I believe the only week we missed was when Friday fell on Christmas Day!

Is this on PS4 or Xbox One? If on Xbox One, I would like to participate or be an alternate. I am pretty inexperienced with the Raids, did have one attempt at it last week leading up to daughters. Interested on trying again if there is room.

FYI I'm a raid noob. I'll try not to be carried too much :)
We'll talk you through how we do each part. As far as actually doing it well, I'm not sure I'm there yet myself, even after a lot of runs. Just relax and enjoy it, and you'll get better. It's magic.
I wouldn't worry about it. I got my first taste last week in a LFG app PUG. Start collecting those calcified fragments!

Yeah, try to watch some video's before hand to get a general idea. Nothing replaces experiencing it though.
OldnAchy, DoctorDoom71, Ra Darkman, SoulTerror, Tenryuu N7 and myself ran this week. It was a great run, especially considering that we had two new folks along. The Warpriest went down on our first try, and we completed the Golgoroth Challenge and the jumping puzzle before calling it a night. Thanks to DEEP_NNN, Hammerdrake, and Duke12 for signing up as alternates!
Lots of fun. I even got over to the exotic chest at the jumping puzzle and got a - you guessed it - No Land Beyond.
Had a great time! Thanks for easing me into the multiplayer side of Destiny (and for not kicking me after the 100th fall). I'm tempted to try the last 3rd before the save point runs out
