I've tried a couple on the Android system, and gave up on the idea. I don't like using the touch screen as a controller for the classic games. I know you can get a bluetooth controller, and I have toyed with the idea of picking up this one to see if it would be any better. Everytime I think about it, I realize I have a NDS with emulators that barely gets used.
What I was thinking. Having to have a separate controller takes away the whole "mobile" bit. I guess touch sceen controls might be ok for RPGs but forget about any sort of action game.

I have a hard time playing the pinball games on the tablet, but it just feels odd/weird taping the screen. I tried Retro Arch on andriod b/c it has multiple systems built into it. Getting some of the rom's to run could be tricky. More info on that one here.
The one I've been trying on Android works surprisingly well. No problems getting games to run. I have been trying RPGs of course, so no major control issues!

Also, I have the Wii set up to run emulators as well, so I would rather play them on the tv, than use the tablet or phone.

Now your going to convince me to try it out again with some rpg's.
