New client !!!!!!!!
For those of you that don't read the official MTGO articles.
After next weeks downtime you can only log in using the new client for 2 days.(8th of may to 10th of may)
On friday the 10th of may on 10.00am pdt you can use the current client again.

I d/l'd the beta last year and tried using it, but didn't have much luck. As I recall the deck editor was very hard to navigate, and I had a hard time finding my buddies to play games. Hopefully they have changed things to make it more intuitive. I'll give it a try. It sounds like we'll be moving to it eventually anyway.

Well it could be a good learning moment for them.
They start prerelease events on thursday so you have to use the new client if you want to play from day 1.
At least it will tell them if the new client can handle that many players.
There are some problems with the new client( trading, chat etc)but a lot improvements have been made.
It looks like they will move to the new client in july so i think i will have to download it one of these days.
A new update will be implemented during next weeks downtime so we will see what it brings us.
Haven't used the new client so far cuz , i like the old one / was too lazy / was drinking beer /some other excuse.

they've postponed it.
I have used the new client a couple of times. I played Nite yesterday, and it had a lot more lag than the old one. I hated the way it now opens a "Stack" window because it was always in the way. Also, it didn't have a 'Card' view and when i hovered my mouse over a card it didn't always bring up the card text.
I did like the background, and I liked the turn stages being across the bottom.
