That is awesome! This game has some life in it for sure. I'll be online Friday or Sunday trying to do the challenge. Myabe we can get a regular game night going? I still enjoy playing, just not so much with randoms.
I've been saving up a wad of credits since I strated getting all the level IV stuff, now I will have some to start with when it hits.
I still have not caught up to y'all in Pandora!
I'm going to try to get away from Pandora a bit on Friday to complete the operation for this weekend. Probably won't be on until 8 pm CDT or so.
New Multiplayer Challenge Feature
Think you are the best soldier in the Alliance? Make sure to track your progress in the new “Challenges” database. Complete various multiplayer assignments and feats of strength to unlock titles and banners to display in-game, and then compare your progress against your friend.
How does it work?
The “Challenges” database tracks various in-game statistics, such as your N7 Typhoon usage. To earn challenge points, you’ll need to complete mini-goals. For example, accumulate 140,000 points while using the Typhoon in multiplayer and you’ll be rewarded with 10 challenge points.
What Can You Do With Challenge Points?
Challenge points are used to unlock cool in-game multiplayer bonuses, such as new titles and banners. Want other players to know that you’re a Council Operative? You can do that. Want to be the envy of your friends with a flashy new banner to display in the player lobby? You can do that, too!
Challenge points lead to unlocks, and unlocks allow you to personalize your multiplayer experience. Now, you’ve got some work to do, Soldier!
well this is something looks like there pulling all the stops which is cool
This is LIVE. I know I will be online tonight playing the Collectors on the new maps. Apparently the new characters to drop are 2 Volus and 2 turians. The Volus are Ultra rare cards and purely support characters (debuffing enemies and helping teammates) the new Turians have Jetpacks.
Oh and one more thing, I read that they changesd the layouts of the camping rooms on Glacier and White. Specifically to reduce the ability to "farm" credits.
PSA: There is no limit on the new character cards so hold off on spending a bunch until they get a fix into the store.
Got the new content and played a little over lunch. The changes to White are very cool. Also played on Reactor and the new environmental effect was that the reactor will shut on you and fry you if you are not careful. (There's an indicator next to the doors to let you know when it's close to closing).
Cerberus Dragoons are evil.
Collectors are nasty.
From what I've seen so far, just a top-notch effort from the ME3 dev team.
Im stuck at work drooling at the new stuff. Cant wait to get home and try it all out!
My regularly scheduled plans for Tuesday night were cancelled, so I'll be on for a couple hours tonight!
Ok was it just my imagination or did they add credits for successful extration now?
Not your imagination. It was added as part of the patch released the Thursday before the DLC dropped.
