New mech build gona try tonight
I was messing around and though of something more as a joke but then i though hey could work
My cat C1 runs currently 2 err ppc and 2 medium lasters xl300 almost full armor and 4 jump jets.
once apon a time it ran 2 srm 6s then 2 srm 4s before the laser varient. BUT in light of the streaks doing way more damage on lights i though hey why don't I mount 2 streaks :) and make it a light killer. If they do as much damage as they say hey i just have to hit em once with ppcs then launch streaks. could be fun.
Main reason for the post. If 2 ecms are running around in a pack. If i cancel 1 with ppcs can i target them even though other mech nearby or do i need to hit both? might not work if its option 2
I think you need to hit both. If you PPC a mech covered by the ECM of another mech, the target doesn't lose ecm coverage. PPCs only disrupt the ECM module, not the ECM coverage. So a pack of ECM lights are pretty much immune to PPC disruption.
worked pretty good for the 4 or 5 games i played then i decided fuck it!! i hate the targeting crap that messes with my cross hairs and it seems to lag me bit. Not hitting the r key drives me insaine soo out with the streaks and back in with the medium lasers allllthoooooough maybe i should just use my jump jetting a1 as a missle boat for lrm online until the hotfix.....probly not, gona be maxing out my jagers i think for while
