Seems to be pretty comprehensive... Hope to see you guys tonight.
BTW stats got wiped for the most part. You are also given 10 mill in C-bills and your Mech Tree points remained. Though the cost for these seems to have changed.
I was unable to enjoy the evening of mayhem it was my wedding anniversary. I did however get woken up VERY early by a hurricane so I (still have power) was able to do some early morning fragging. I noticed:
1. They changed the economy again. It seems that things cost more to fix. maybe it's the FF armor.
2. They changed the distance at which you normally zoom in favor for the new "V" zoom which is eh.....
3. The Cicada is incredibly fun!
4. All the prices for all the Mech upgrades have increased, and purchasing the Elite slot items made me need a anatomically correct doll to show you where the bad man touched me.
I SOOOOO hope I get a chance to run with the gang tonight! When I popped on to check the Mech Lab before taking the wife out I died a little inside at having to refuse the invites...
Just rebuilt all my mechs as best I could and played a few matches. Had 64 million to work with when I started, so I got almost all the mechs I had before the patch back.
Engines weigh more and you have to add the extra hs to engines over 250 rating. So to rebuild my mechs as I had them before the patch I had to upgrade to endosteel on my lights, mediums, and heavies. So that's a push in my book except now I have to spend an extra 500k+ per mech to keep my builds. My assaults didn't have the crit slots for endo, so I needed to sacrifice a couple heatsinks on each Atlas.
The skill efficiencies are bigger bonuses now. So even after removing a couple of heatsinks I didn't notice much difference in heat on my Atlases.
Repair bills are higher again, so earning cbills will be a bigger grind now. A lot of folks without premium or founders bonuses seem to lose money, break even, or barely make any kind of profit.
My games had a lot less lag. Instead of aiming 2 mech lengths ahead of the fast little mechs with my lasers I only needed to aim at the leading arm to hit center torso. Gauss actually hits where it looks like on screen for me. A lot of players are saying the lag and targetting are worse now though.
Not a fan of the new mechlab.
Anyways, I'll be on tonight (Friday) to cook up my favorite dish: scrap metal surprise! Hope to see a lot of you all on.
