Just arrived. What should I see?
Hi all.
Now that i've joined the group. is there any must see reading material?
I'm on xbox live as TheStig2011 ( for the moment ) and i'm on Forza 4 and F1 2010.
Looking forward to some type of organised events, rather than being sworn and screamed at on xbox live.
TheStig2011
Welcome Stig!!
Why not head over to the 2Old4Forza forums and say HI.
You will find everything you need for Forza.
Greetings & welcome Stig. WE've got so many members in 2O4F that we've had to split into regional club divisions. Whereabouts are you located? Once you let me know, I'll make sure that you get a club invite from the correct division in game.
I'm in Australia.
Welcome! - We do have a couple of Aussies in the club, but never got to race with them :(
We don't have an aussie division, so I'll let you choose ...Would you rather join our european division (about 6 hours behind you) or I can invite you to my division (about 14 hours behind you). Just let me know which you'd prefer.
Hmm, 6 hours behind or 14 hours behind. i'm GMT+10 so....... let me see. 6 hours behind.. so when it's 7 pm there it's 1am here
14 hours behind, when it's 7 pm there it's 9 am here. I think I'll go with your group jcotter13.
Are there any other Australian/ NewZealand members?
Got a couple of them. I believe Griff was from there...though I haven't been on a whole bunch lately, so I'm not certain when he's on. I've run with him a couple time in the late evenings here (PST, GMT-8). The others escape me at the moment.
There is one other Aussie that I know of. I tried sending a cklub request, but the game kept telling me your gt doesn't exist. I tried several times. Do me a favor & send me a message on xbl. Then I can go to "my club in-game & can use your message to add you.
Thanks Cotter. I changed my xbl ID to Dandy Ronkey. I'll shoot you a request later tonight.
welcome to the house!
Your signature Sherb is a photo of an Australian V8 Supercar (but i'm sure you know this) and it made me think that you were australian.
It's difficult to eplain to people what our touring car category is here. Big, heavy, sedans based on road going saloon cars. Ausralians are very proud of thier heritage and for the past 7 or 10 years only 2 manufacturers have bothered to compete. Ford and Holden.
So, in Australia, you're either a Ford man or a Holden man and the rivalry, although not as toxic as english soccer fans, is somewhat heated.
Now however, 2 manufacturers have returned to the sport. Next Year, Mercedes and Nissan will make an entry giving Australians an oppotunity to enjoy more variety in a sport where control components outnumber innovative design.
Anyhoo. Look forward to racing.
Matt
Well im from the UK and im deffo a Ford man.
Although Im thinking Nissan might have a big impact next year.
Just hope it doesn't rain again

Hehe. Sometimes I think I should've been from either Austrailia or the UK. My favorite Ford race cars aren't even from here (at least campaigned very little here). Falcon V8SC, Cosworth Sierra RS500 (Group A) & the GT40. But I do love lots of cars from various manufacturers. I've actually got a couple Porsche 914s that sit next to my Mustang Cobra at home.
I might be a car addict.
Of course I'm also one of the small percentage of the US motorsport population that prefers my cars to go left & right. Granted there is a higher percentage here on the forums w/ similar views. I quit following NASCAR back in the mid-nineties.....as the cars became less and less distinguishable to their road going counterparts.
I think Chimp is from down there as well. You can see if you are able to find them on the 2O4F Active tag.
