League idea:

Kaliediscope Pauper

Only cards leagal for K-scope and only commons including lands, only two colors at a time allowed. (Dual color only).

You can use a color combination only once. Example: If I use red/white in round 1, I can't use red/white again.

You can use a color only twice during the league. Example: If I used red/white in round 1 and then used black/white in round 2, I wouldn't be able to use white again for the rest of the league. But I'd still have the use of red & black 1 more time each.

You'll be able to change cards out of your deck through the round for other cards, but NOT able to change the color combo once you start with it. ( If you start green/blue, you have to stay green/blue until the round is done.)

League lasts 4 rounds, (2 weeks each). Normal 3 ticket buy in.

We'll keep track of the colors used each week by players in the scorecard area.

K scope pauper 2 colors per round............sounds funny.

It means we have to build 4 decks for one league.

We could also make it Kaleidoscope Peasant, which would allow us to have up to 4 uncommons in our decks.

Actually, I think I like the idea of Peasant better.

I think Kscope pauper or peasant would be pretty easy to do since it isn't singleton.

Let's suppose I went Green/Red for my first round......

I have plenty of commons that have both the green & red symbol in their mana-cost..

Also these cards have both mana sybols in their cc. You don't need the 3rd color to cast them..

Some other ones used a lot..

I counted 26 other red/green commons not shown above. ( that have both color symbols in their cc).

The question is do we allow cards that DON'T have both sybols in their cost but could be cast if you had just red and green mana? Like these...

I think it kind of gets away from the spirit of the 2 color deck thing. However I'm fine with it either way, but it's something we should clear up before we start, (if we start).

This looks funny and i have some ideas about it.

Both colors should be on the card.

You can only use those 2 colors to cast them no matter what other colors are on that card.

Now because this limits the cardpool and to prevent everyone from playing the same deck we could do peasant.

It allows you to use some uncommons (5 i think) to give your deck a twist.

Which means this would be added to the rules.

Both color symbols of the chosen color combo must be in the casting cost of the card and no other color mana may be used to cast the card.

Up to five uncommons may be used.

I like idea! I'd be down for playing in this league.
