[Not Diablo] Path of Exile launches tomorrow
For those Diablo fans that were disappointed, Path of Exile launches on the 23rd open to everyone and 100% free. It's micro transaction based but everything is cosmetic, money can't buy any advantages it's not pay to win.
Some things it does better than diablo 3
-Parties of up to 8 people
-Skills
-Character builds
-Item stats can be re-rolled with items you can find or trade for so items can evolve over time
-LateGame/Endgame content shits on Diablo 3
-Runs well on lower end PCs
-No gold to farm for. The currency in the game are items that you can trade, or lesser items can be combined into better quality items. Think Gem combining in D3 but on a larger scale
-PvP is currently being tested and run for weekend events to get it ready for full integration into the game
Found this excellent starter guide video explaining how things in the game work and have some great gameplay examples

Im liking it. Bag space could use an upgrade or multi tabs.
YOu do have a stash in town that can have tabs. I think you get 4 tabs by default and can buy them individually or in a 6 pack. I did the $25 supporter pack for the closed beta and used that 250 credits to buy stash tabs.
Just don't take anything out with you except wisdom and town portals to maximize usable backpack space.
