Nvidia shield - promising Android handheld?

I've been kind of removed from gaming lately but when I saw this in an email today it piqued my interest. It doesn't look like there are many new/original Shield-optimized apps out yet, but considering the size of Android's community of developers that could change very quickly.

Anyone getting it at launch?
