Many members are very active in our clan chat on Bungie. It's a great way to coordinate Nightfalls, Raid Groups or to just hang out and play some Crucible games. You can get to the clan chat from Bungie.net or via the Destiny 2 companion app.
For PSN Members! If you were previously a member of the Destiny 1 PSN Group, you will need to leave that group and then join the one linked above. If you see a Clan banner with 2 swords on it, that's the old one. If your Clan has a wolf, you're in the right place.
Our Clan starts with a 2. I never saw a restriction regarding numbers.
The 2o2p clan is still basically full, so I wanted to let some of you know about another alternative to DEEP's group. In case you don't meet the age requirements...lol
The Clan I am in had our leaders basically disappear from the group, take us off their friend's list and block all of our communications to them. All of this with no warning. Thus I am left holding the bag. We are small - less than 10 people at this time. So I'm not sure what we'll do with ourselves.
I think the core members are going stick around for a bit and see if others might want to join. If not, we'll find new homes with other groups.
This is NOT an attempt to take away from the 2o2p community, but just an alternative IF anybody is interested. All we want are chill people that want to do stuff - Raids, Nightfalls, Patrols, Strikes, Crucible - all the Destiny stuff. I would prefer to keep the group small with only active players. Also, skill is NOT an issue. Just a fun attitude and desire to hang out. We are mainly an Xbox group.

Also, if the 2o2p admins find this post in poor taste, then it's ok to remove it. I understand. As I stated, my intentions are not to take away from this great community. Just offering up an alternative.
Sorry to hear that news Darth. It speaks volumes to me about what I don't like about Clans. It's also why I don't push the Clan concept beyond what Bungie has literally forced on us.
Maybe a nice courtesy to include 2old2play in the clan motto (if not the clan name)? (may something like "affiliated with 2old2play?")
It is in the name "2old2play Primordials", but adding to the motto would seem like a good idea.
Reason I mentioned the motto is because "2Old2Play The Abandoned" as a name might sound more like an exile group rather than an affiliation :-)
I'm not trying to take any members from the 2o2p group. Many of the people on my friend's list are in the main 2o2p clan and that's cool. However, the clan is almost full so it wouldn't accommodate our small group without leaving room for any new players that come to this site and need a place.
We aren't any kind of official affiliate with 2o2p, but I've been here for a number of years and have played with many of you on a regular basis over various games. Thus, I'm just offering up an alternative if people want to join a smaller group where it might be easier to get to know people.
I'm certainly not trolling for members or trying to siphon people off from the main group.
Sorry Darth, didn't mean to even hint at implying you were trolling. I was just suggesting (as a non-admin with zero authority) making a mention of 2old2play in your clan name or motto. Maybe consider it a "shout out" or an advertisement? But its not necessary. The 2old2play Primordials isn't officially affiliated with 2o2p either, and it was formed for pretty much the same reason: the "main" clan is full. I'd have probably joined it even it was only called "The Primordials."

Whoa, Ok Pretty much everything going on in the 2o2p clan is going on through the Destiny companion app. I consider the app an extension of the game. If you are in the 2o2p clan I highly recommend getting the app. It has a clan chat feature to talk with clan members where every night members are on chatting trying to group up for all activities. It seems to be hard to get a raid group going at times because there aren't always enough people on wanting to raid and we fill the group in with our friends list or guided games. So if you want to raid we could use you. The app also has private clan forums we can use. The app also lets you stay in touch and set things up with ease wherever you are. Once you set the app up you stay logged in so you can quickly access it's features. For whatever reason it seems hard to get people to come to any forums on any site these days so the app seems to be easier for a lot of people.
The 2o2p clan currently has 92 members in it and 7 members marked as not playing Destiny 2 and looking to be kicked if we max out. So there are pretty much 15 open slots right now. I could probably find a few more if I went and looked through the roster more. Seeing Texas's post has made aware that there may be quite a few folks out there not using the app. I will try to PM a lot of our members I don't see chatting in the app and make them aware of it. I don't know of any "message the clan" feature. Though one should be available.
Our group is pretty disparate when it comes to posting. I don't even own one Android or Apple device. Others don't post no matter what. I try to aim them here for info.
What horsepower does it take to run the app on Android tablets? I won't be getting an Apple or Android phone in the near future.
Not sure about those specs. I'm not very good with computer stuff. There might be something on Bungie.net about it though. I should have added earlier that you can also access the chat feature as well as a few others on Bungie.net. The app has a few more features though and is the only way the private forums can be used I believe. So anyone in 2o2p clan can hop on Bnet and shoot out a message to the guys using the app on chat and get something lined up. This may have no benefit to your group though Deep.
Since my last post I went back and looked through the 2o2p clan roster and there looks to be about 27 people in the clan who haven't played Destiny 2 yet. There are also 8 open slots. So if anyone wants in it seems room can be made.

Thanks for the info Assassin. I sent in a request to join the group, so hopefully I can at least see the chat. Basically, if I'm on, then I'm usually up for anything.
I would especially up for trying some Trials matches if people are interested in running some games. I'm not the best a Crucible, but I'd like to give it a try.
EDIT: So it seems I can't actually join the 2o2p group without leaving my current group. We used to be able to "join" groups without setting them as our official clan. This appears to no longer be the case. Sorry.
One way to get around the clan issue, is that you can join it for a different system (pc, PSN, etc.) than your main one. You would still be able to see and participate in the chat. I'm not sure how many you have in your clan now, but we can and will make space for people who are actively playing D2.
I know I've mentioned it on the podcast a few times, but I am totally disppointed about how the clans worked out and the member max. I don't like how it's splintering our community.
Thanks Fi. I appreciate the info. We have a smaller group of about a dozen players and probably about half of those are really active. We'll see how it all works out.
I haven't been on 2o2p in a looong time, but I wanted to check in to see if there were any dedicated PS4 players? I'm looking for a fireteam for endgame stuff, crucible, etc. I can play pretty much any night but I'm most active on the weekends (Fri/Sat/Sun) PST. Lemme know if anyone needs an additional guy in their party!
