OMEGA DLC coming November

Mass Effect 3 DLC Omega is landing on November 27 and is priced at 1200 MSP or $15, if a video interview by Examiner's Beverly Lim Lee is accurate. The interviewee is apparently Mass Effect 3 Producer Mike Gamble, although he's introduced as "Mike, the producer of Mass 3 Effect Omega." According to the interview, the DLC is double the size of any previous Mass Effect 3 DLC, and lets players take on Aria, who is vying for control of the Omega space station.

The video was uploaded to Ms Lee's YouTube account, and was apparently taken at the New York Comic Con, a convention at which EA BioWare is certainly in attendance and showing off Omega concept art.

Nice. But should I shell out the points or should I keep playing the free MP and wait for the SP stuff to go on sale?

Hey, it's Mass Effect!  And Omega!  And Aria!  Remember:  Don't.  F***k.  With.  Aria.

How could you wait?

Shit! Did I get a season pass when I got this game, was it even an option? How can I check to see if I have it?

**EDIT** - I do have the season pass but what is included with it. When I got on last night I saw that one of the game addons was 800 msp(leviathon) and I thought it should show up as no charge. Also Omega shows up at 12oo msp. I may be getting confused here but is ME3 the one where I have to be ingame at extras? menu in order to download the addons or is it another game I'm thinking about?

I could be mistaken but I am pretty certain that ME3 did not do an online pass. I would have gotten that for sure.

I got Leviathan on sale and will download Omega when I get home tonight. Time to start that Insanity run I've been threatening to play for 6 months. Damn MP!!

I checked my XBOX live account and past purchases/activity and it for sure says Season pass mass effect 3.

In that case I believe it would work the same way as the GOW3 season pass and you would need to redeem that in game and not on the xbox website.

Hmmm..did some more checking and my gamestop account shows that I paid $62.39 for the game which obviously doesn't include a $30 season pass. I checked again on XBL and it actually says "Mass Effect 3 online pass".Is that the same thing? Probably not. So in all likleyhood I do not have the pass. Sorry, but trying to remember this shit 6 months down the road from game to game can be confusing.

So I have a question.  How much SP DLC content is there now?  I never bought any of the DLC whatsoever after playing through the end of the campaign (I needed to walk away from how bummed I was at the ending).  I played all the ME2 DLC at once and would like to do the same here.  I don't care at all about the MP DLC, I think there are much better shooters if I want that.  Is it just the two releases or more?  Anyone know if they have much more planned?

So far there are 4 DLCs for ME3 Single Player. The first was From Ashes which was the Day 1 DLC bullshit (Free w/ Limited Edition, $10). Then they came out with the Extended Cut (Free) which just fleshed out the ending for those that hated the original. Next came Leviathan ($10) and now Omega ($15).

My guess is that they might do one more but that is just an assumption. Take it for what you will.

You should at least give the MP a try. It is really fun and different from others in the sense that it is purely Cooperative. It is also highly addictive ;-)

Online Pass = Bullshit EA requires you to have so you can play the MP. It is something separate.

No worries =-)

Oh, it wasn't the greatest, but it wasn't all that bad.  If you hated everything else, you had to admire the scenary.  It was cool to see more of Omega even if the story was meh.

I have to play through it again for one achievement. The one that requires me to save some piece of furniture.

See? Where else can you get that kind of drama?

It is really hard to role play as a N7 operative trying the save the galaxy when the game wants you to save Aria's couch.
