Operation Silencer weekend

Allied Goal: Kill 3,000,000 banshees

Squad Goal: Survive until a full extraction on any map against any enemy on gold difficulty

Successful completion of the allied goal will grant all players a Victory Pack.

Successful completion of the squad goal will grant all squadmates a Commendation Pack.

It'll be interesting to see if they make the 3 million. The one with brutes we got to 3 million, th eone for phantoms a month later only hit 1.5 million or so.  Im not sure there's enough people playing anymore to achieve the community goal this weekend.  Guess we'll find out Tuesday.

Community FAIL.  Wonder how bad it was - I rarely see folks rocking ME3 on my friends list anymore

I read some rumors that it was only 1.9 million of the 3 million needed but I can't vouch for the veracity of that.  This was my third event weekend, and anecdotally I expected we wouldn't hit it when a bunch of the random games I joined didn't even bother to set the opponent to Reaper.  This was unlike the previous two events where every random game I joined had the opponent set to the proper one for the objective.

yes I notice that was well  Wikiri a few of us played over the weekend  still it was fun

the part that get me with what they say that has me wondering to peek up interest in the Co-op is this

Rest assured that we too are learning from this conflict. Already, we are implementing plans to supply our forces with a better arsenal so that, when we next meet the enemy, they are ours. Until your next deployment, keep calm and carry on. We will pay the Reapers back soon enough

This mite have to do with what Sony slip out about some ME3 DLC

I figured 3 million was asking a little much out of what's left of the community.  They could pull that off probably the first two or three weekends after launch but now... forget it.  They're probably lost half of their community at this point, aside from Manbat, no one on my FL is playing anymore.

The Rebellion expansion will add two new multiplayer levels, the jungle-based Firebase Jade and Firebase Goddess on the Asari homeworld of Thessia. Also in the mix are three new weapons, new equipment and consumables and six new classes: the Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator, Phoenix Adept and Vanguard, and my favorites of the bunch, the Vorcha Soldier and Sentinel. Vorcha!

... meh...  I have to say at this point i'm not really that interested.  More characters, more guns, two more maps...  IT's still the same shit.  Now give me a new enemy army to fight or a new game mode and then my epeen willl perk up .

I'm just still glad there providing support these days and that folks like manbat are around to play with.  Though I would have gladly bought the game on launch and started playing the heck out of it, I had a 3 week business trip to India start at virtually the same day as launch.  Combined with losing another week to post-travel catch-up, I'm at least a month behind everyone else in playing this game and I've got a bunch of equipment to unlock yet.  Plus, I'm still having alot of fun messing around with stupid builds like human infiltrator ninja.

This game probably won't lose me until Borderlands 2.
