Opinions on the new dlc now that it's out?
So now that TTAoDK is out, have any of you played it? Gearbox has constantly stated how it's the most expansive dlc they've ever made. I've heard of a lot of people finishing all the quests in 5-6 hours, which really seems pretty small. Most have said it was a good dlc, just not nearly as much content as what Gearbox has been ranting about. I'm waiting for my co-op buddy to get back from vacation to start it, but what are your guy's thoughts?
I'm going to be getting it next week as I will be on vacation 7/1 - 7/8. It looks like it will be a lot of fun!
So far so good. I suspect I'm near the end of the story missions, sooner than I'd like, but it's fun. I'm not sure how long the campaign is due to taking my time and looting everything I possibly can.
If you have the eridium, spend some time at Moxxi's and play the slots (on UVHM).
Well I didn't play all of it, but I am really impressed with it, lot of fun, new enemies, finding new ways to defeat enemies.. At one point Evil(lvl50cmd) and I (lvl52assn) got matched up with a boss orc who was level 57. Took a long time to kill him, but it was a lot of fun doing it.
Yep, it was fun and the story is slightly different which makes it intriguing. Will be on again tonight about 6pm ET. We were also playing the hardest setting TVHM? which is why I think we got the level 57.
You were in UVHM, yeah that was fun.
Yeah, I've been hearing there's lots of new enemy types and stuff, plus there were supposed to be eridium altars you can place eridium and get temporary stat boosts for your characters. I heard it's also super funny. I'm hoping they add some decent weapons to the game!
Downloaded this and Krieg last night. I will be on vacation from 7/1 thru 7/9. Mon-Weds, I will be home by myself, and will be gaming ALL DAY. Hope some of you guys are off too so we can get a solid 4-player group together.
I just finished the main mission and a couple side missions. I like this DLC - very challenging and a good story/angle. I still have tons of sides and the one I did were fun.
I"m playing thru on regular Vault Hunter mode if anyone's looking to play. I'm in the Dwarven Mines right now. Playing all next week 5pm-9 or 10pm PST. I was playing by myslef but i find borderlands boring alone and the mobs are just too much. If I had a Mechro or a Soldier it would be easier to play it solo but I play a siren so all the aggro is on me all the time. It's just to much, I don't find it enjoyable anymore. I guess this is what happens when there's such a big ass gap between when everything else has come out and the final DLC. I've moved on and it's tough to come back and play this game solo I find.
Anyway, all next week after work i'll be playing, would love to have one or two others join in to help and banter with :)
I had started out with EvilClaw here but he's obviously a UVHM snob and likes to play with himself instead of others so I haven't progressed very far LoL...
I just got the Swordplosion Shotgun - all I can say is wow! Easy to get on a side quest and the best shotty in the game.
I wish could join ya guy, but I promised my co-op buddy I'd wait for him to get back to play it with him. Since he's my cousin if I piss him off I gotta hear about from all my family lol.
