Hey everyone! My name is Greg Beck. My gamertag on Xbox1 is orion0782. I love to play Star Wars: Battlefront, Forza 6, or whatever else I can get my hands on. I have been playing electronic games since we had the first Pong console. I also had and Atari 2600, and at one point was champion Frogger player (in my house) :). I have played Doom, Doom2, and Quake when they originally came out. I was playing deathmatches in Doom in 1995! I would love to get into clans on Xbox1 and would like to be able to meet people as well. Look me up on Xbox and lets play!

My tastes in games are evolving. When I played the beta version of the latest Doom, I was not impressed. I felt the game looked "cartoony" and lacked the realism that I would expect in the latest generation of the game. I know that Overwatch also has gotten alot of praise, but I find it kind of juvenile as well.
At this point, my tastes are with games that are more realistic-such as Star Wars: Battlefront or Forza 6.

I played The Division when it was in beta, and thought it was cool. However, when I started to read about the quality issues, I decided to take a pass.
Titanfall2 is due out latter this year. I might be interested in picking it up.

Welcome, Greg! Wolfenstein was my first Id game. Haven't missed any since. Fun fact: it's still a difficult challenge for AI players to play Doom the way humans do, i.e. from the image on the screen, without cheating. There will be a head to head AI competition based on the Doom 2 engine this summer. It's a first, as far as I know.
Also on Xbox here (GT: Krak64). Mostly Overwatch with a side order of Destiny these days.

I played Wolfenstein too. But it was after I played Doom. I played it after I found level 37 in Doom, and decided to try it out. I was not as impressed with Wolfenstein at the time, when compared to Doom.
I had a similar reaction to Duke Nukem as well.
As for the AI challenge, I was aware of that. It is exciting to see how it goes.
