PC question.

Popped in here because I know you guys are decently savvy with the boxes and play stuff atleast as hard on them as i do, maybe harder.

I have an Asus A10 with on board graphics and 12 gigs of ram, was looking through the "on sale" newegg email and saw a 2 gig Nvidia 750 for like $129.00 and I'm wondering if it's a step up and if so, is it enough to matter or should I wait and go further? Cost is a relatively mitigating factor. Guessing much bigger would require a power supply upgrade perhaps as well?

I do have to say the box does play everything I play decently as is, was just thinking maybe I'd upgrade to a good card.

Hmm tough call, my advice would be to wait a while. For sim racing nVidia is the way to go but in a few weeks they will be bringing out a new range and prices on the last gen are likely to drop in price again. On the other hand that card is already a good price...Now, if you intend at any point to go triple screen, then a 4gig card will see you ready when the time comes, it can be done with a 2gig, that is what I am running but I am looking to upgrade that when the next gen cards come out.

So...Yes of you want to upgrade now, for single screen that is a good card at a good price, or you could play the PC waiting game for a few weeks.

Oldschool, that is a great deal for a good quality card.
