Good race today, gentlemen. Congrats to HLR King Cobra on the win and earning himself an additional 5% handicap for next week.
A Tricootertops and GizzieGod rounded out the top three and will have a 5% handicap next week.
InkaBODpaiN, Dazjon and I accordianed in turn 9. We were all able to keep going but with 54% rear damage I could only muster a 7th place. I'll be back to no handicap next week.
Sorry Ink. I was trying to time a run out of 9 to attempt a pass at 10 but misjudged how close I was. I think Daz had a similar idea to try and get past me.
Had a full room but lost Fitzy and steviegers early. In looking at the replay I think we should have called a yellow at turn 4. I'm a decent driver but I'm a horrible race steward.
Thanx for keeping things going in my absence dudes. I'll update the handicaps shortly. I got home about 4:20. I was driving like a madman trying to get home in time, but I didn't want to give my family a heart attack either lol. It was good to see my grandmother for what could possibly be the last time. But at this point, that's not really such a bad thing imo. I know I don't want to live long enough to ever get to the point she is at. I appreciate all the support.
Now, back to business. Does anyone have any nominations for next weeks track?
I was going to vote for Road America, but that would probably be really unfair to people with handicaps. To many long fast straights. Would have made a great 1st course. I got to think of my ability to possibly win a race now that I too will be handicapped. Fujimi Kaido full maybe? Yes, No? Porsche + Fujimi = Trouble I think.

Honestly the 5% restriction won't hurt you as much as you think. You'll miss the hp on the backstraight but drafting will help minimize the disadvantage.
Depending on your driving style the 5% hp reduction might make it easier for you to balance the car through the corners and exit with more momentum since the rears will be less likely to break loose under acceleration. If you hit your marks and time it right you might even be able to make a pass. Turns 5 and 12 are probably the two best places to time a run exiting the corner so you can make the pass at T6 and T1 respectively.
Also remember. Limited Race Damage.
What's going to be fun is watching Cobra carve his way through the field with a 10% hp handicap.
Hey everyone, thank you for putting up with me on the track! I had a good time and managed a middle of the pack finish. (Every one knows the funs in the middle!).
Had a some great late race battles with Cooter, Max and Teme. We were all pretty evenly matched so passing came down to capitailizing on each other's mistakes.
For next week's race how about Sebring or Road America?
Good night of racing once again. I am really enjoying the GT3 series.
Close racing with Shaggy and Cooter once I settled down and stopped making mistakes in the first few laps.
Road America sounds good to me for the next race
My plans have changed and I won't be able to race with y'all this Saturday. Day trip down to San Diego. Have a great race and I'll hopefully be able to join you next week.

BTw did you guys notice? I DID make it home in time for 4:20?
I was just having one of those nights, I just couldn't stay out of trouble. Sorry Chosen and anyone else I managed to damage.
Road Atlanta it shall be then.

Oh, added my name to the list after the race,
Glad you guys showed up. It was cool to have a full room.
Road Atlanta seems to be the common choice of tracks this week for the events I'm in. No need to practice as much I guess.
Shaggy did you notice that your in my sig now? I can almost see Scooby in the back seat of your Porsche.
Cool. Shaggy approves.
Yep. That's my secret. Scooby's the the back feeding me Scooby Snacks to help me go faster.
Nice sig Cooter!!
Going to try and get in on this one this week
I'm in for this weekend's race at Road Atlanta!
Signed for the race, looks like we have more than 16 players. If for some reason you wont get full lobby, shoot me with invite Mr C.
We can always split the lobby if needed.
Damn...change of plans....won't be on this afternoon. :(
Have fun guys!
Lobo
I'll be on if you need filler.
Didn't see you Sherb. We had room you should have joined in.
Great race today folks. Too bad Jimmy & Simon got booted. especially since simon really needs a handicap.
It was also nice to see a few new faces. Damn this latest bunch of new guys are fast. Who let them in here?
No worries J. I decided to work on paint in the meantime.
And the final product....

Great race today. Me, Jimmy, & Cooter had one hell of a battle for 2nd, 3rd, & 4th. Thanks to everyone who joined in today.
Where to next week folks?
I was thinking maybe Nurburgring GP?
Sounds like I missed a humdinger at Road America. Who ened up winning?
Nurburgring GP
