Pull List 4-10-13
Pull List 4-10-13
I couple of weeks ago, I decided to get together a pull list for my lcs. I live in a small town and my local shop pretty much sucks. They never order much of anything and if I want certain comics, I was going to need to subscribe. I am still trying to figure out what I like and the original list had a few on it that weren't doing it for me. In the mean time, I found a comic forum that is not one of the major forums and people tend to be a little more normal. The forums have turned me onto a few comics from smaller publishers that I am looking to try. This is what is on my list for today.
Aliens vs. Parker #2 - Hopefully store has #1 also. One of the new ones I want to try.
Star Wars #4 - Enjoying this so far even though I am not a SW fan.
Batman #19 - Just because.
Invincible Universe #1 - If it's as good as Invincible...
Sex #2 - Ordered #1 online. Figured I would read a few issues.
Age of Ultron #5 - Not sure about this series so far but going to continue to pick it up.
Avengers #9 - May drop soon
Thor: God of Thunder #7 - I like Jason Aaron so I like this.
Wolverine #2 - Will keep buying for the time being.
Harbinger #11 - Read #0-3 and the story interests me. My shop has 4-10 so will pick those up as well.
Not a bad pull list. I subscribe to almost everything published by Marvel, DC, and IDW and an Image series here and there. However, if I was to complile a pull list it would probably be:
Uncanny Avengers - It's been just amazing so far, and really surprised me, definately my sleeper hit
Uncanny X-Men - So far it's been nice seeing this darker Cyclops teamed up with Magneto and Emma Frost
Batman and Batman The Dark Knight - The recent Mad Hatter storyline in TDK hasn't been super full of action like the Scarecrow one was, but the overall stories always seem to interest me.
Superior Spider-Man - The new Otto Spidey has made for really drama filled issues.
All-New X-Men - It's been a really odd series that I love sometimes, and get bored sometimes but the good issues outweigh the bad for me.
Superman - Really enjoying the new Supes, along with his Action Comics series
Justice League - I've really been digging the storylines so far
Walking Dead - Well, duh
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - It's a more mature turtles
Indestructible Hulk - Bruce Banner has finally accepted the Hulk, and now he's capitalizing on him for once
DeadPool - This series has been nothing but a non-stop laugh riot
Savage Wolverine - Wolverine trapped in the Savage Land, so far it's been decent, ca't tell yet if it's better than the just "Wolverine" title
I may miss out on 1 or 2 but these are by far some of my favorite right now!
