Ya I was thinking the same for the 11th....last I checked 6 of the guys were in the top 20 overall drivers rating for tour cars lol....how I look at it if u wanna get faster u gotta run with the best!
Finish I did and in eigth...qualified last kinda on purpose as there is always some sillyness in the first few corners and had a couple of good battles, so good fun.
Today was disaster for me...first race was wtcc 06 @ monza made one little tweak to the car after qualifying and it haunted me the whole race spun the damn thing 4 times resulting in an extra pit and damage and a lap down
Second race 1 hr mini at paul richards...qualified 6 went back to the pits after qualifying before the race started and apparently u cant do that it dnfs u.....F#*K!
I also really have to figure out my strategies and fueling its really killing my races as well

No mate I don't just start something...I finish it I'm telling you though, just getting to the end of a R2P race is a result, as for getting a podium...I was lapped by first, second and third LOL Never seen so many Aliens in one place. When we going to see you on the grid?
Iam starting to question some of these so called aliens...after viewing lian photo of yesterdays mini race pointing out the excessive track cutting it got me curious how much of this is really going on so I downloaded some race replays and to my surprise all those top guys have mastered the art and know every part of the track where they can take advantage of it.....now iam not looking for excuses for my slowness but should u fight fire with fire or play fair and hope for a mid pack finish? Iam not sure how strict rf1 track cutting is I honestly can't recalled getting a warning for track cutting, race 07 is a little wishy washy, I've been warned for a tire touching the curb then theres times ive had all 4 wheels off and been fine.......i hope with the next gen of Sims they crack down on this issue to help even things out :)
Yes I commented on the track cutting, for me I would rather come mid pack and race fair and clean than...well, cheat. I will say the last Mini race everyone seemed to be keeping to the track but the previous one was ridiculous. it is the reason I much prefer racing with GBR or 2O4E but if I want the number of races to justify the money I have put into the stuff I have then I guess Race2Play is where I need to be. My guess is after a while we will get to now the better races to take part in and the ones to avoid.
There have been several drivers DQed over the past few weeks for protests that were submitted after the race. If there are several drivers doing it, then they are probably pretty lax in calling it. I know in some of the other series, I've seen drivers loose positions post race for a pass while cutting...or DQed if they were cutting regularly. It all boils down to the event coordinator and how strict he wants to be w/ the policies. In general, most R2P events are typically fairly strict about it.
Yes I think I will be more proactive in future, in my short time I have had some great battles but also seen some blatent corner cutting...next time I think I will put in a formal complaint.
Most Season 25 series are done or on the verge of wrapping up. Good opportunity for those wanting to get involved in Season 26 race series to chase those points.
Well today I redeemed my self in the mini race....i pulled a miracle out of my ass and qualified 2nd in the field, the first 7 laps went well maintained 2nd than I started questioning my self of how the Hella I was still here and started making some mistakes and dropped to 3rd, 2 laps later i spun out in the last chicane at Barcelon dropped to 4th and had to battle back...the guy in 4th made some mistake and I capatlized on the last lap and the guy in 1st ran out of gas allowing me to move to 2nd! Boy it felt good to run with the aliens since my 3 previous races I had been lapped by these same guys :)
As for the e90 race helios on Fri iam still on the fence if I get some more seat time ill run it....maybe we can run some laps together !

I need to get my Touring Car races complete so I can try to enter some V8SC stuff next season. So I'm running the Lupo event tomorrow and the E90 on Friday. The car I was going to look at sold, so I should be there. Hoping for a solid mid pack finish as I haven't turned a single lap yet.
Well done mate, I did exactly the opposite and put in a lackluster performance...Okay I was never putting in times to get me up the front but should have been further up than I was. Ah well onward and hopefully upward :)

It's all about the fun. Great car, great track. In about 30 minutes of practice/tuning last night I was able to get down to a 1:25.8.
