Grim I will gift it to you in a minute just watching the whole race again as I know there was a few bumps toward the rear of the grid, but in other news I can proudly say I thoroughly enjoyed my win in race 3 and wow that last corner... Just have to say grim, Derek, and mapo absolutely awesome driving
My apologies to Parcell# for giving him a bump at exit of turn 1 in race 2, room A. I thought there was sufficient gap but apparently not. Ended up spinning him out so I felt obligated to drop back. That was the only down side.
Overall, good race day for Team DBBQ Racing. 4 podium finishes including a win in Room A!
Congratulations to derekthetree for finishing on podium twice! Thank you, sroth88 for trying your hardest; we know you do in every race!
aquiel2k, it is unfortunate that you could not get into the room. Next time, try Room A (through me) also.
It was a good race i messed up the last corner which gave jonny a good run to overtake on the straight , I could have closed the door but for me its always drag race to the finish .
It was a good weekend for JDRT. After some bad results the week before JDRT makes it to the podium again. One driver this weekend was brilliant: MapoUK won two races and in the third race with much handicap he came in as 4th. All other drivers - Church, Antz and JDANKERT - had fun and enjoying the Seat.
The guest driver Knight had not found the time to travel to Japan, but one other driver had serious problems. Steviegers wasn’t able to sleep the days before. This time the jetlag was a massive problem for him. He decided not to take part in the race, because he wasn’t fit enough to concentrate. JDANKERT: “He did not want to be a risk for other drivers in this hard racing competition. I think it was the right decision and a typical example of how our team works: Respect for each other and self knowledge. Two values we live.”
JDANKERT has to come back from Japan to Germany and therefore a very limited time for training this week. He will drive from Emden (North Germany) to Munich (South Germany) for a meeting with his father. In Germany Thursday is “Father’s day”. A day which JDANKERT and his Dad are celebrating together since he was 15 years old. Mostly they met for 2 or 3 days.
Time without women and wifes. Time to discuss many things, time to play chess or backgammon, time to sing songs - JDANKERT’s 3 cousins, their 4 son’s are also coming to Munich - and time for drinking one beer! All in all there are 10 men, who are having fun and celebrate life.
Saturday evening JDANKERT will return to Japan. Hopefully there will be a possibility to make some rounds on the track.
Enjoy Fathers Day JDan. Sunday is Mothers Day here in the states and Canada so it will be interesting to see how many drivers will make the trip to Motegi.

I wish my Mother had a little more enthusiasm when I told her she gets to watch me race on Sunday.

Team DBBQ Racing has reserved a VIP suite on the main course for all the drivers and their families this Sunday morning. Of course, Moms will have a place of honor with all enjoying a hot brunch that would put IHOP to shame.
In the afternoon families will move to our special team tents set up on the East course straight where will be serving sushi and saki for the race. Just a suggestion for other teams that may want to be Mother's Day correct and avoid their wrath if they race on Sunday.
team boss mr f monkey quoted as saying " I'm really pleased with how the teams doing in this series, dazjon and grims performances have been outstanding and I've been driving not to bad as well. I'm most pleased with how gunny has been coming along, his drives have been going from strength to strengh, and his confedence has been growing. We as a team are going into this weekends racing in a good position and feel confident my drivers will deliver the professional performances they do week in week out. "
When asked about the last race meet monkey said " I had a much better weekends racing and was a little unlucky in race 2 to loose to mapo, but a little mistake from me and some fantastic driving from mapo resulted in a second place finish for me. This sees me just holding on to the top drivers spot in room B. "
monkey went on to say that the team has stopped work on te Clio to focus on this weeks seat race, work will continue on the Clio first thing Monday.
Race Day, Team PistonHeads are ready to continue their domination of this series.
Awesome pep talk for this weeks pre-race meeting Boss. Parcells is ready - not literally ready I still need to shave and shower and some stuff like eating maybe, still got 20 laps left in the F1 race but I'll be ready come race time.
You may have heard(no sense hiding it), I botched the qualifying in the Clio series. It was an honest mistake, totally Parcells fault which is exactly what I'll tell the media should they ask. No fault of team Pistonheads and I apologize for the negative attention it brings to the team. It will never happen again.

On to next race preparations.
One thing I have noticed is how clean the races are getting now.
Can everyone remember Nub GP and how much issues that caused?
This past few weeks it has all been pretty clean and hard racing.
Lets keep it going to the end of the season
Close finish race 2 in room A

Just watched the replay again

That's probably because she's seen you race before.
