Not sure about you peeps. But I am excited about the spider. I have been saving my pennies for them. Was wondering if anyone else shared my enthusiasm? I find that in the last few weeks my nerd powers have been diminished due to a very large workload. I have been unable to play with them in the offline mechlab. Has anyone else been able to crunch the numbers so to speak and find the perfect chassis?
I have been flying the spider all week, the offensive capabilities are minor, but the ability to get in and get out quick is exceptional. Nobody can follow when utilizing jump jets over terrain. The best maps so far are Frozen City and River City. Caustic Valley is terrible for the spider. The trick to flying it is learning jump tricks such as death from above(firing off lasers above your target) and baiting mechs and bring them back to an ambush by your team. I am sitll figuring out all the jump tricks i can do with it, it is perfect for capping points on Conquer mode.

Ok so after the 500 word essay on why I am disappointed in the spider thought it to be to QQ'y so the short of it is They are no faster then my Raven and my streaks follow them in the air... I believe them to be a waste of some poor developers time and effort that could have been spent elsewhere.
I think this comment copied from MWO forums sums up the spider the best.
