Welcome to the 2O4F Super GT Series!
We will be using a selection of Super GT (Formerly the JGTC, Japan Grand Touring Car Championship) cars. The eligible cars will be in the GT500 category from the 2005 to 2010 seasons and are listed below.

The PI will be a full R2 875 on all of the cars. So the builds are pretty simple for each vehicle. Full race trim on max width tires and the correct restrictor removal should put the car at 875. The only rule is the cars must remain on stock wheels.
Tuning is allowed, but you must retain default aero settings. Everything else you may tune to your liking. I've decided to keep that setting default in order to maximize your racing pleasure. I've also done a bit of testing with my MPR guys, and let me tell you, we should be having a great time ripping around the circuits in these bad boys .gif "23"){kind=small}

I would like to keep the grid looking good so the cars must have race paints with your number on the provided number plate. The number plate should be displayed on both sides of the cars as well as the hood and rear end. The plate is available on my store front.
Rules will be pretty standard procedure. Cautions in the first 3 laps only. Regular countdown from the leader to re start.
Handicaps: 5% added to the top 3 of each race and 5% removed if you finish 6th or below.

#071 Castrol TOM'S Supra. My take on the black LM version from early Gran Turismo.
I've been working w/gearing to tame these cars (R3-R1) and make them driveable w/out traction control.......Just sayin'
I didn't think these were too bad at all. My Supra gets tons of traction in corners. The default gears and aero are to help even the field. All the cars have pretty much the same aero settings and the preset gears in each car are all competitive with each other. These things hit an aero wall at around 175 anyways. More testing will assure the cars will be appropriate.

Oh you have to start just in front of Max and I get front row on all restarts for the offer to be valid.

Some of you had questions regarding the paints for this series. They all do not have to be race replicas, although that would be ultra cool. They just have to have race oriented designs. Replica or fantasy, doesn't matter.
I'm still working on the schedule. I have 14 circuits on the list, I'm just finishing up testing at each track. Based off of my test lap times, the races will be set up to last 30-40 minutes.
Finally, I will be doing some group testing this Saturday night around the 9pm EST start time. If you're around, come join us for some preparation racing.

You're right burnt, I don't think about these things. I've decided to then cut the overall race time in half and have two races per night. So we'll be doing two 20 minute races on two different circuits.
Another development from testing, I've decided to allow gear tuning due to the fact the NSX has a really tall 6th gear which hinders it's performance on the longer straights compared to the other cars. You must still keep default aero setting however.
Drafting strategy will be a large factor on certain tracks so it should make for some exciting races. The track schedule along with my better times from testing will be up in the OP soon.

Spent an hour tonight trying to paint my Honda NSX. I give up. Going to have to find someone who can give it a retro look. Took it out for a couple of laps. Holy crap that thing flies. I kind of liked it though. Definitely going to have to spend a little time with it. Anybody have a tune they don't mind sharing?
