I was just trolled by this movie. I was sure it was going to be better than I expected. It wasn't just I either. My wife and son watched too. Same opinion.
I love Sci-Fi and give it a lot of leeway for the more incredulous stuff but this movie takes the cake. I want my rental money back. Well, not all of it because I was entertained somewhat for 90 minutes.
No way this movie should have been nominated for anything but special effects.
Umm, movies like that tend to do better on theatre size screens...Avatar was wondrously beautiful in the theatre, and just so so at home. Of course the storyline was already hohum...

I saw Avatar in 3D at the IMAX. It was very good in that format, but I suspected it would be better at home on my gear. It was/is better at home. It was like watching the movie for the first time.
Picture quality of Gravity at home, was great. That part was not disappointing.
Knight, boys heading over that way this Friday I think? And they were already heading to the Temple area from what I hear. So apparently everyone's on the same page.
Rain to freezing rain today, was relatively warm out, now dropping below freezing as I speak...
Ah just the usual internet storm in a tea cup, all seemed important at the time, amuses me to read back from time to time, it's like the forum archeology
Hump day huh...Not reached this neck of the woods...Any particular thing we are supposed to do, or just generally wander around with the hump?
I have an idea for you Knight, you live in the countryside within striking distance of sheep I'm sure. Go for a walk in the fields and have a great hump day.

I'm alive! It went fairly well again the second round. It's actually making me nervous? Lol! Side effects are tolerable. I've got wicked cabin fever though! Bronchitis kept me on lockdown for a few weeks, then chemo. I've left the house ONCE for non-medical reasons in over a month!!! LET. ME. OUT!!! I'm going to fake feeling better today, and convince hubby to take me out for some Mexican food. Dude. I haven't had salsa in a month or more!! Arg!!!
24 I think..But as I left both school and home just after my 15th I had packed in some stuff most 24 year olds hadn't...and indeed shouldn't
GRAVITY

Of course, this is very subjective opinion.
My rating, return rental for some money back.

Waiting on the next XB1 update so I can try out my XB1 Stereo Headset for a few games.
Very cool, very happy for you guys that they are getting their tweaks out there.

They will have a great time. Thick layer of ice on the car this morning, and just wet now...for a change.
LOL, okay, thick layer of ice on the car, supposedly warmer later today...
Hang in there Kit!

Anyone thinking of seeing the latest in the 300 film franchise? Don't. That is all.
