I.E. on the 360
I don't know where to put this anymore and Since I can't find a "search", I'll just assume this hasn't been talked about already.
Two thumbs down to to MS for giving us a browser that works really well for everything except anything useful. You can't download anything or do any real work obviously. So what's the main thing people would want to do with it? You guessed it................watch videos.
Well you can't. No adobe or quicktime support at all. I think webtv was more advanced than this.
no games, no video, no point
Glad I didn't sign up to be a tester for this and some other features they added.
One could just use the apps section to get the videos they wanted. And Bing is already on their as a search app. I have never used it, but I assume it only let's you do the same video only thing?
The new pin feature is awesome though.
you can watch shitty youtube videos and that's about it. If you find a video you want to watch, you have to close ie, open the youtube app and then try and hope you can find a shitty rip of the video you would have already seen had you been able to. Silverlight won't even work. It's pretty much just a Wiki machine.
What about porn?
then it might be worth it
Or bacon!
Does it do bacon?
If not, I'm not interested!
I don't see much point in any of these internet apps on the xbox, not Messenger, facebook, twitter or IE.
I have it because I'm in the beta test for the new dashboard. So far, I have not found a single video that will play
I've watched videos and porn. I've searched the web and read/replied to posts. Don't know why you are having issues
Most of the web works well. In fact, I like it. But every video I've tried to watch would not play.
Parental controls maybe?
