that is a good question. i don't think it is because it will actually last for about 10 days. the 100 meteors per hour thing i would guess is just in the US tonight though. but you should still get a decent show over the next few nights anywhere.
I really wanted my little girl to see this. I looked it up and you were supposed to be able to catch it all weekend, tho Sunday was less than Saturday. There were too any clouds and the light pollution from the theme parks and tourist areas reflecting off of the clouds made it impossible, even on a partly cloudy night which it became after a bit. Oh well, I guess il have to wait til the next one.
This US only?

Cloudy, foggy and rainy in Atlantic Canada tonight. Not that they'd be easily seen here but it wouldn't matter tonight.
the sky seems to be clearing up a little bit, so i'm hopeful. i'm near Pittsburgh and it's suposed to be clear, but i can see clouds.
fingers crossed.
i would love to sit out on the deck with mrs. wam, a cold beer, and shooting stars.
Will have to keep a look out tonight while having a cigarette.
Although coming from England the chance of not having clouds in the sky is very small

Same here Wam (duh, we are only a few miles away!). Stupid clouds.
Crapage. I was watching my weather for days and totallt forgot about this. Maybe some tonite tho?
yeah. we missed most of it the last two nights, but there could be some strays over the next few nights.
Well I have a blanket of clouds above me so pretty unlikely to see anything
Saw a couple on my way home from Seattle last night.
i still haven't seen anything...darn clouds.
And I thought we were "Cloud Capital" of the US.
