Old-school moped I'm thinking about buying!

The following machine is for sale on my local Craigslist:

1976 Batavus HS50, all there and from what I can see in pretty good condition!  Owner says he's had it started, but now he's not getting a spark.  Anyone have any thoughts?  Yes, it's nearly 40 years old, but since you can't find a machine like this new anymore, my only alternative would have to be one of those step-through scooters that are everywhere these days.
