Router Advice, under 100$
I don't use my wireless to game, just to surf the web. My old one died and I have to plug in now. I plug my XBOX right into the router.
What's the ideal one to get? I'd be willing to cheap out if it doesn't make a huge difference.
I don't want to be an apple douche but the airport express really works perfectly. My house is small, three bedrooms, one floor and signal is great in all rooms.

I have tried Cisco, Dlink, belkin and had issues almost on all of them.
If you want to spend less, go with Medialink.

I picked up a cisco valet router for 30 bucks @ walmart just to get something cheap to get me online. I've had it for about a year now and it's worked well, can't complain. I think it's only 150mbps though not 300mbps. If you want more capabilities, the Cisco E3200 is about 80 bucks at walmart . I don't have any personal experience with it but reviews are good.
I went for the E4200 and got the dual wireless with 450/300 as the kids use a wireless x box conection, mines still hardwired (superior), but we run 4 boxes, two x boxes and assorted wireless laptops/phones/IPods and we're getting over 30 dld and usually over 4 upload out of it. And I live out in the sticks....It is a touch over $100.00 though.
Thanks for the input guys. Ended up going with a 50$ Linksys with 300 mbps. It might just be me, but it seems a touch slower than my old one was (which was 300mbps supposedly).
I got sick of the cable people telling me it was the router so I got [url=http://www.motorola.com/us/consumers/SBG6580-SURFboard%C2%AE-eXtreme-Wir....
So far so good, all of my lines connections and now equipment is new. Now if Comcast would get off of their ass and fix their half of the deal.
