Xbox one and custom headphones/mic through controller?
I was curious does anyone run game audio/chat through the controller to normal headphones and a mic?
Not the normal xbox headphones?
I want to use my ath-m50s headphones and a mic for game audio / chat and I am thinking I just need the adapter for the controller, line splitter, and mic/headphones.
Help me out.
I think I found an answer, but still would like to hear if anyone is doing this.

Thinking this is the mic I will pick up, comes with splitter.

Or just get these since they are way on sale.

I have the PX51, difference being they are blue in color, and they are an AMAZING headset.
I've yet to be impressed by turtle beach in the past. Plus I already have ATH.
I also have tritto ax pros and astro a40s.
Not sure if it helps with your own setup or not, but I'm using the Xbox One Stereo Adapter (pictured above) with a pair of Turtle Beach X12's. Seems to work great so far. Had to do a controller update first - connecting the controller via USB to the XB1 - but that was no big deal. The cord for that comes with the adapter.
That does help, did the cord come with the xbone adapter or with the tbeaches?
