Thanks, haven't read it all yet. I would have gone with Eneloop but there weren't available locally. Once these Duracells show their true capability, maybe I will have to order Eneloops online.
My old Energizers, used in the 360, have been very reliable and long lasting for old-gen batteries.
Well even if the Official Xbox One Recharge Kit from Nyko; I'm draining the juice from the packs a lot faster using the XO Seven's. Don't get me wrong the headset is extremely comfortable, and provides excellent sound quality, and I can't hear shit around me, with the suckers on my head (LOL)
I might try as an experiment using my Sony Pulse Elite's with the M$ Adaptor and see how far I can play with the controller before recharging.

Why the headsets have to be powered thru the controller is beyond me. Just went out and bought a play and charge kit. I already had the Nyko controller dock which works fine, but it looks like if I want to do an all day type of thing using my XO 7's then they go from wireless to wired...sigh.

it's so you can use any headphones/headset.
don't get me wrong, Energizers are good too. But the higher capacity maH Eneloops are teh awsum.
