Saw a recent news article on this. Apparently the guy was under the influence of a new drug they have been calling "bath salts", some new kind of LSD. It has some crazy effects too, very zombie like. These include increased brain/body temp causing dementia, a boost in physical strength, and that the users have been known to use their jaws as a weapon. Creepy stuff.
