Right now Stormbluff Isle, Jade Quarry and Isle of Janthir are duking it out in WvWvW. This is the first time that I've been in a battle this close in score. We're in the 4th day now and no server has pulled away. It's been an incredible time. This is pretty much all I do in GW2 anymore and I've been having a blast.
World versus World
World versus World (also known as WvW, WvWvW, World PvP) is a Player versus Player game mode where players from three different servers, or worlds, battle in the Mists. It features open-world combat on four large maps with up to several hundreds of players per map. In World versus World, players can besiege structures such as Keeps and Towers with siege weapons, battle over resources, and win rewards for their world.

GTFO of GoM. Just do it. See if SBI is ever open and make the switch. While we're losing ground to Jade Quary, it's not a that much and it's still a fight. I think our server decided to go do the Halloween event than defend what we had in WvWvW.
i would switch if i could. ET sucks now. not even worth going into WvWvW. SBI has been full 24/7 for the past few days.

Leveling up my gaurdian - that is gonna be one mean son of a gun, stacking toughness and + heal, this guy ain't going down.
had hell of a time in wvw last night - played till about 2 am LOL.
I have 3 pieces of invader armour now, My ranger is too squishy and i spend most of the time running for cover - i'll eventually kit it out with + condition damage for traps and bleeds :D 51 badges and counting..
Buy some legendaries. It's a huge difference.
Its pretty close tonight - There is a massive push in eternal bg! hope our effort is worth it as we closed in a good few points
SBI FTW! We're top dog now! This week in WvW has been the best yet. For the most part JQ and SBI have been neck and neck. Even IoJ was in the thick of it until Tuesday.
Yeah - I will do once i have enough money or can craft such items.
Stormbluff Isle takes the lead once again, we're fighting the good fight. Our server is pretty solid in wvw and is not afraid of being behind in points early in the week. It looks like JQ is done. People gave up on that server quickly. Blackgate seems pretty solid and I bet they continue to be so for a few more weeks. Fighting at Tier 1 has been a blast and I really enjoy a server that takes it pretty seriously.

We were in putting the pressure on last night, I was on the rampage group which was taking all supply plots. The zerg protected our keeps and took new ones :D
Seriously gotta get some decent dps, I am finding it hard to kill others :(
Just made the jump to SBI as well.....though it's more for co-op opportunities.
It's a very active server. Lots to do.
We owned almost all of the Jade Quarry Borderlands tongiht. It was unreal. Their zergs would crumble and run away from our smaller groups. SBI really has it shit together.
I've noticed that - I run in a guild called NOPE which seem to be on the battlefield alot. They've got a good amount of perks which certainly help!

NOPE mostly runs on EB, right? I've been with them on the SBI teamspeak Server.
I like running with Njord from sF, he's pretty good. Last night we had 5-6 groups all partied up. About 30 players. We didn't just do mindless zergs. We'd cap something. Send a couple of groups to resupply, 1 to scout ahead and some to defend and start building defenses up. Then rotate out groups to do supply runs. We also sent a group or 2 to cap smaller things like supply camps (no reason to send a full zerg). It was probably the most fun I had in WvW to date.
Yeah they are mainly in EB, we usually do the same - run around and cap supply, defend keeps etc :D
Then the zerg finds us..
The zergs we fought had to be mostly pugs. We just stuck together and ran straight at them and through them. We were usually outnumbered but would always come up with a win. They scattered and broke off. We even stopped several portal bombs. I managed to get several hours into WvW with no deaths.
I've noticed that alot with zergs, if you get them to scatter and keep in formation then you'll usually come out tops! OR drop an arrow cart and start spamming :D
SoS won last weeks, they're a tough server. I hopped back in tonight (WvWvW) for the first time since Halo 4 dropped. It was a brutal night. We held what we're supposed to on SoS Borderlands but it wasn't easy. Zergs from JQ and SoS all night long. It really was an epic night for WvW.
I'm also leveling a Ranger at the moment. He's over 25 now. I've been hooked on the Green Arrow show and decided to make a character based on that. Say what you will about the game but it offers a fun leveling process and it just looks amazing. I still watch every Vista I come to.
They also added the Fractual dungeons. I have not done them yet. Actually, I have yet to do a dungeon in this game.
We have a solid lead this week. I hopped on with the guild but we only had a few show this week. For shits and giggles we brought our ALTs. I did surprisingly well with my Ranger. I got a ton of kills. I only died once and that was becasue I never saw the zerg (damn culling) until they were on top of me. Managed to get 2 quick levels out of it. Which I needed as I'm under level for the zone I'm in.
They need to do something to get people into WvW. Saturday night Eternal Battlegrounds was insta queue. That's just silly. I'm guessing that the Fractuals of the MIsts is hurting it. That and I think the game population has severly dropped.
One of these days I need to get on and try some WvW.
i havent jumped into WvW lately either. Mainly working on finishing my story and did a dungeon the other night.
Let me know if you need the final story, I still need to do that on the Warrior. Soon for the Ranger, he's 46-47. I'd also like to run some of the Fractuals at some point. Just to see what all the fuss is about.
Yeah i need to do that and one of the dugeons (AC). the armor you get from it is really good for the ele and cant get it on the market. Although the other night in wvw was good. Too bad our server cant keep that up. SBI has a big lead on us.
