I noticed blurriness in the mechlab. But the rewards and repair system is the big situation. I played a few matches in a non-founders atlas today, won all of them, was still at 80% health when repairs came around (never destroyed or had weapons destroyed), and still ended up losing 5k-10k cbills per match. In smaller mechs maybe a profit can be made, but losing money for winning is bad mojo.
I'd agree the rewards/repair situation needs to be re-evaluated, which I'm sure they'd doing. The last payout before this patch was handing out way too much money, this one too little. But it requires that you play more strategically. I feel bad for those people who didn't buy into the founders package and got into the Beta. They have to be hurting really badly.
I'm not running any XLs; I can't afford to buy one without using MC because I'm not making any money. I'm actually losing money with my Founder's Cat and with my SSRM Cat, despite racking up crazy damage/kills totals, because the ammo is so expensive. Losing money when I'm the top guy in the round on the winning team is silly. Thank goodness this is only a beta and it's sure to be tweaked or I'd be cursing this game!
I found a way to make money in custom mechs. Use little to no ammo based weapons. I'm making decent cbills in an Atlas RS with 4 large pulse lasers, 38 heatsinks, and a 300XL engine.
I just noticed that more cbill rewards are being added next week. Kills, kill assists, capture, capture assists, spot targets, component destruction, and even cbill rewards for damage done. So it will get better, hang in there!
Logged in and played a little bit ago. Not happy with the money state of things. They've made it difficult to enjoy the game. Repair costs need to come way down.

The original payout was just fine, 150000 for loss and 250000 for win that was okay compared to the two extremes we have seen in the last 2 patches.
The problem is still that people want to run XL engines and when they get a HUGE repair bill blame it on the fact that they're running a custom mech.

But I wanna run my SSRM Cat! :)
