Ttime keeps on DRAGIN N2 da future....
Hey guys... Looking to put together a 60/70's Muscle car Dragster. RWD 600-650 BHP.
would any of you guys have some knowledge on how to build .25 dragster, as far as suspension and gearing? Also any thought on the perfect car other than 65 mustang GT Coupe? perhaps one of you could do and old school livery for me?
One thing I'm going to investigate is when drag racing moving the clutch back to the left trigger. Might make it easier to launch by slipping the clutch a bit.
slip clutch is way more complicated than it sounds. messes with you circuit racing for one and 2 ur timing has to be percise
Typical rear gears for steet drags ran 4:10, 4:11, 4:56 and 4:88's sometimes, in the real world.
Old School Could you please talk english to those of us who do not know the mechanics of a car..... imma suspension and paint guy I know nothing about the Engine....
Rear gear ratio's, final drive in the game, the rear pumpkin ring gear. Most of the old muscle cars and such ran rear end ratios of 4:10 to one, 4:11, 4:56 and some even 4:88's.
I frequently start with one of these when tuning a car for a drag race. Sometimes they work right off line start, sometimes you have to tinker a bit with individual gears in the tranny, but it's a good starting point.
Ok so how does one translate 4:10 etc to FM4?
Most final drives are 330 stock, I think, just change it to 410, 456, etc. You've done tuning haven't you?
never gears... just everything around that
goy any old sckool drag paints... does anyone know how to make flat paints
