As all my design's are registered in China I don't have to worry about copyrights. All the same as long as you think I didn't make a mess of it I'm happy. Thanks Oldschool.
Tourni I did a 4.11 at Le Man, how far away from your time is that?
I can't speak for tourni, but we run similar laptimes on just about everything. I ran a 4.06 @ Le Mans, 7.44 @ Nordscleife & a low 1.45 @ Hockenheim. The car is in the club garage if you want to try it out.

Must have a different tune from the rest of us or you are just too good!!!...When you say similar times...Do you mean Tourni or Fitzy?
P.S. HLR..Is this your tune or someone elses?...What car did you run in for the 4.06@Le Mans?...Thanks!!!
It's my own tune for the #9 Ford Falcon. I used the same tune for all 3 tracks. Me & Tourni will usually be racing bumper to bumper all the way to the finish.

HLR...Thanks..Would you consider sending me over a copy?..WHEELS 555..Not sure if we have to be on each other Friends list to do so!
I think a FR will be necessary, but I'll put the tune on my SF for free anyway.
HLR..Got your tune..Thanks a Million!!!...If you are running 4.06's (Fitzy 4.11's) and the best in three laps I could do was 4.15.00 I think it might be time to rethink this series..Even with a handicap my doors would be blown off FAST!!!
P.S. That's what I get for racing the slow cars all year...Need some more laps and hope for the best!!
Hmmm. 4:10.250 after 5 proper laps. my tune is lousy.
If anyone has a decent no 11 Holden tune and are happy to share it, that would be amazing. Or if anyone running another Holden could send me their settings or a car with it on that would be great. I'd send it right back once I'd copied over the settings.
Some people will be real quick on certain tracks, and then on others they struggle. I struggle on the long tracks like this, because of the one little mistake that I will inevitably make, is compounded by the time I reach the next turn or end of lap. One little slip, too much throttle, spin the tires, wrong line, locking of brakes...can equal a second or two by the end of lap.
I feel, if you consistently run around 4:10 per lap, you have a chance at winning the race.
You also need a good pit-crew. If the dude changing your tires is having a bad day, you're screwed. Just say'in

:) yeah, but I made sure I hired the red bull pit crew and not the mclaren one.
4:10 is a decent consistent time, but since 3 laps does 30% + tyre wear its going to be difficult to adapt to the changing handling given the length of lap. Did 3 tuning laps and I thought there was a definite difference lap 2 compared to lap 3. Seemed like 3 was already much looser. On a shorter track you obviously do a lot of laps before that level of wear, so the effect of wear seems more gradual. on le mans you come to a corner for a third time and you expect it to do one thing, but it does another.
That's actually going to make this track great fun.
Aiming for 4:07's, but it won't happen with my tune :)
I just uploaded a replay of a 5 lap test race against AI, sim damage on. Didn't run a perfect lap but still ran a low 4.07 in lap 2 & 3. Lap 4 & 5 (4.09 & 4.12) tire wear started coming into play, 86% wear after 4 full laps.
JD - I don't but I did improve my tune for the no 11 Holden. Should be transferrable as its the same car. Or not? If so, I'll send you a no 11 and you can just copy the settings. Let me know.
Its no Tourni tune though, but since my last post on this I ran 4 more laps and managed a 4:15.xxx out lap, 4:09.xx laps 2 and 3 and finally a 4:08.100 for the 4th.
Replay is on my storefront if its of any use. Search "v8 mojo"
Awesome Fitzy!
Tourni...What is the final number per your requirements on your tune??..I (#19 Falcon) get a 703..

You shatter my blissful ignorance. How dare you! :)
I have that effect on people...except Fitzy apparently...but I'm still trying.

Sincere Thanks..I'll Look 4 It!!

Sent you the car Paul.
Recieved mate cheers now for a tune and get used to the steering wheel.
Run the track...a lot... your times will drop around lap 10.
Once you learn where to push the car a bit harder and where brakes are needed and where they are not needed...etc.
The old girl is ready
Looks good Church...
That sign, never seen it there before, is it actualy there? Gawd, I'm oblivious to my surroundings if so.
Sure is. It's where the 2nd 90 degree bend is after the banked left hander

Nothing wrong with that time Poids....(I hope)

Hello,
does anybody have a tune for the Holden #8 BOC? I don't like that Ford with that cockpit view.

Hello Poisdly,
that would be great. Thank you. I will also look for the replay. To learn from the fastest ones always helps!
