Where is everyone ?

I left a couple months ago, came back and haven't seen anyone in a week.

I'm in the Bad Idea guild on Bastion, imp...

I would'nt mind rolling another toon somewhere else if a couple members still play together.

Thanks,

Dan

I think T3 is the only one left in SWToR.  After the main exodus, a bunch of us rolled on the Pub side.  I got to say I really loved my trooper, he was pretty bad ass.  Unfortunately, the game lost too many players and guilds were dropping like flies that I finally unsubbed.  Being stuck on a West Coast server while being on the East Coast also didn't work for me.  The last guild I was with raided at midnight my time.    I have since moved on to Guild Wars 2, which I really a lot.

It's a shame SWToR didn't pan out.  I really did enjoy the game a lot. The class quests and the planet quests were incredible.  PvP was a blast and probably the most fun I have had in an MMO battleground.  My biggest fear is that they won't update the game once it's F2P.  They don't have a good track record with the updates as they take FOREVER now.  And that's with people paying subscriptions.  They also needed to do more events to keep people active, similar to what WoW does.

Yep, I'm the only one left and am in another guild.  If you're going to stick around I can get you in if you think it's a fit for you.  Hit me up in game, I'll be playing as Leeg, Fornaught, or Temüjin (the ü is Alt 129)

Most of us left awaiting GW2 and many of us are playing that.  However, some that left SWTOR to play GW2 are probably back in WoW MoP for a bit as of today.

Thanks, I'm torn between Diablo 3, WoW and SWTOR...

Now that I got this brand new Alienware computer and can finally play SWTOR to its full extent, I think I might try it out a bit more...

If I could get my toons on an East Coast server, I'd consider going back.  1.4 is out with 1.5 already on PTR servers.  Plus, the PVP warzones were pretty good.

Even though I have four new games for Xbox I am still playing SWToR. With the new patch they've added some really nice content including a new dailies section including a black hole commendations mission. The cartel coin market is very nice with some good content (be careful, you can spend too much money in a hurry a'la the Playstation home network).

The new HK-51 mission set is NOT easy and in fact requires an operation and a flashpoint to complete (at least using only gear built up from the dailies).

I really don't like hearing everybody bailing. I just about have my brother convinced to try playing in groups since we've maxed out what we can do as a pair. I have 4 level 50s on The Harbinger (plus 3 others I'm working on). See my other post for "Need a Group".

HK doesn't require an operation to get, just a 2+ heroic, 1 normal FP and i think 1 hm FP.  I think it took me 5 hours.

We got the heroic and the false emperor FP. My brother told me there was an operation involved. I'll check again (I mean, I believe you, derp).

Doing hard modes are out for the two of us for the time being, the current plan is to do the Black Hole missions we can pair through until we can get some better gear. A long time is in the making me thinks. Currently our gear consists of customs filled with mods acquired through the standard dailies.

Unfortunately, our... "personalities" aren't really compatible with randoms. For example, I get really pissed off when we try to do dailies and some jack-ass jumps in to "help" so that they can get to theirs quicker. Irritates the hell out of me but others might appreciate it.

I was hoping to find a few people on this site to group up with some nights to try some different things in the game. At least I know most of the folks here aren't immature dingle-berries... Well, I did say "most". ;)

lol.  that is a wierd quirk not wanting "help".  hell it makes your day go faster if someone wants to help you kill something for no credit.  black hole comms come much quicker now days.  It shouldn't take you too long to gear up with that.  And I'm an immature dingle-berry douchebag.  I get pissy when people don't keep up with me or take too damn long to spacebar through fp cutscenes.

Don't do cutscenes. Especially on repeat missions. Why listen to the same thing more than once?

I don't mind when people temporarily group up to run heroics or something like that but to just jump in on the dailies thing has nothing to do with helping. It feels like, "hurry up and get out of the way" to me. To each their own.

My brother and I can get the weekly done now on the black hole as a two-fer. Before we got our asses handed to us.

On a different note, most of the purple weapons from the cartel market are pretty awesome (except the blaster rifle, sounds wierd). But, the double bladed sabre and the pistol?!?!? Crazy sweet.

Oh, the Hardmode flashpoint (Maelstron Prison for us) is NOT easy with our limited gear. Our characters are both using fully stuffed gear with the dailies mods and the first real boss stops us cold. We haven't been able to get further than reducing is health by 30% or so.

Not the uber-gold droid but the uber dipshit with the cyborg eyepatch. That guys a douche.

Our only hope at this point with just the two of us is to continue the weekly mission that grants black hole comms and try to gear up better (I'll have 50 of them after this week). After they get the hardmode space missions going it might get a little easier to get higher end gear also.
