I'm already getting excited with the rumored September release and it's only March. *sigh* What can I say, I love me some Halo. Amazon is one of the best places to buy from - they are sensitive to popular releases and have always sent things very quickly before, sometimes shipping a day early so I receive them the day of release. Plus, no lines - lol.
SMALL (Halo 3, MSRP: $59.99):
Halo 3. That's it (but, come on, it's enough)
Regular, standard edition, Halo 3 game
MEDIUM (Halo 3: Collector's Edition, MSRP: $69.99):
There is a bonus disc and collector's tin: The first bonus disk found in the Legendary Edition (that being the one with the "Making of Halo 3" documentary) will be included in this release as well as a Halo fiction and art book. It all comes in a metal collector's case that won't elicit nearly as much jealousy as the Spartan helmet case found in the Legendary Edition.
LARGE (Halo 3: Legendary Edition, MSRP: $129.99):
The previously announced Spartan helmet case is still in alongside two bonus disks of extra content. The first disk holds behind-the-scenes footage including a high-definition documentary titled "Making of Halo 3." This disk will also include an audio-video calibration tool designed by Bungie to help gamers get the most out of their home theater systems. The second disk will house remastered cinematics from Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 with new developer commentary as well as a featurette documenting life at Bungie. Last, but not least, the Legendary Edition will come with a set of Halo 3 storyboard art from Lee Wilson.
