Within a week of hearing that Ubuntu was successfully booted on an Xbox 360 console via the Hypervisor exploit, a Gentoo Linux Live-CD has been released. Along with this, a new King Kong shader was released to allow for the loading of this Live-CD, instead of having to upload the kernel via a serial connection. This new shader will load and subsequently freeze the King Kong disc as before. However, it will now eject the tray, allowing you to insert the Live-CD and boot the Gentoo kernel. Currently X is not supported but once stable drivers are released, a new Live-CD will support these features.
Sweet. So it sounds like you just expoit king kong (will need to find a cheap copy of that), then just plop the live-cd in when the tray ejects. I wil definately be interested in this when they have X drivers working.
If I can get my premium working again I will be trying this out.
