Shared on Thu, 05/03/2007 - 10:21So, I managed to get my addons tweaked, tidied and re-arranged last night, and I am now the proud owner of Xperl Unit Frames and Tbag. Xperl will take a bit of getting used to, as does any addon which changes major parts of the UI - I've been using the default Blizzard unit frames for my player frame, target frame and the party frame since day one, with only CT_Mod to add in things like HP/Mana counts etc.
I'm currently trying to get a group together from my guild to run through the 'Demon Hunter' chain of quests in Nagrand which start with Survey The Land. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this one, as it's a prerequisite for access to a lore-heavy quest chain that ends with Thrall visiting Outland in person. I'm not much of a lore hound tbh, but something this awesome deserves to be followed up I think.
I'm thinking I might post up some shots of my UI, just for the Hell of it. I understand that's the kind of things blogs are for? Off the top of my head, the addons I can recall using just now are as follows;
CT_Modd (all parts)
Auctioneer
Gatherer
FuBar (with several plugins to track guildies, flight times, XP, repair status, reagents, bag space, money, location, FPS/Ping, quests, and probably a couple toher I forget about)
Atlas
Deadly Boss Mods
KTM Threat Meter (always useful as a healer)
Smart Buff
Smart DeBuff
Equipcompare
MobInfo2
BongoBars - pretty much required for anyone who wants to overhaul their UI the way I have.
I'll deffo fire up some pictures in a day or two.
