I'm so keyed up!

The NFL Football season kicks off for reals tonight!

YES!

And, my fantasy football season commences... :-)

Yes, for real, I'm quite excited about September in general. The summer is always a kind of brutal time (and that's magnified typically because I live in Texas, but this summer wasn't as hot as normal - whew!) mostly because there's nothing on TV and no sports (don't pretend baseball is a sport - it may be fun for some to watch, but it ain't a sport). Now, football starts. And, I get to put my fantasy football team up against 11 other Old Man Mafia teams, probably winning again (confidence is the key, right? Who cares if I start Grossman). Right behind this wonderful period of time is the NHL season - Go Dallas Stars! - and, of course, regularly scheduled programming (I just started watching Season 1 of Heroes on DVD and I'm hooked). And, this year? Of course, Halo 3.

September is a good month.
