Sixty-Eighth

Just a short update folks. Due to my extremely restricted budget, I'm forced into building my army up quite slowly. I picked up a unit of Plague Marines from eBay towards the end of last week, at a couple of quid cheaper than they would be in a GW store - yes, I'm that poor that even a £2 saving is a must : (

The models arrived on Friday, so I started cleaning them up and putting them together on Saturday morning, then a couple of hours yesterday afternoon getting them basecoated and starting on the first coat of highlights. I gave up earlier than I should have, when I started getting frustrated with my brushes - they're all pretty old and have seen better days, so I was struggling a bit at times.

As I say, my budget is restricted, so I'm not too worried about taking my time on the models - it's not like I'll be buying more every week just now. I'm trying to tell myself that it's a good thing that I'll have plenty of time to paint my models up well, but I just end up telling myself again and again that being bankrupt sucks ass.

No pics as yet - I'll maybe snap some tonight - I've got my driving lesson tonight, so I doubt I'll be doing any painting, so I'll try and get a couple of snaps uploaded.
