Not only did I have free tickets, I had free VIP tickets which meant, VIP Parking. No waiting in line with the rest of the schlubs, literally took me 20 minutes from Oak Park to get to this downtown Chicago location and park. VIP also meant I had access to the VIP tent and box seating smack dab in the middle and a personal waitress to bring us drinks which were very overpoured. We took some crappy pictures from a cell phone, this was the best but perhaps you can get an appreciation of the proximity that we had. The set list was awesome, the music was expertly played and Trent's voice was amazing. Billed as a final tour, this could very well have been my last opportunity to see him but knowing how these things work I doubt it. Here's another shot a friend took from the warm up which is clearer and better quality. Set list went as follows:
Somewhat Damaged
Terrible Lie
Heresy
March of the Pigs
Piggy (regular)
Metal
The Becoming
I'm Afraid of Americans
Burn
Gave Up
La Mer
The Fragile
Gone, Still
The Way Out is Through
Wish
Survivalism
Mr. Self Destruct
Suck
The Day the World Went Away
Hurt
The Hand that Feeds
Head like a Hole
"I'm Afraid of Americans" lacked David Bowie but was still very strong. I found a youtube of it from the show I was at which I'll close and link
