Do we have a massive shit list for xblive?

Today playing MWfare2 I saw yet another person javelin glitching.  I said dude if you keep that up you'll get reported and then ultimately banned because enough people will complain.  He said what many of them say, if you report me, I'll report you, and he had his usual 3 friends to "vouche" for him on the other side that presumably also reported me for reporting.

I'm not terribly worried and would likely complain to microhard if someone had an unworthy vendetta against me.

Now I suggest a massive or proportionate vendetta against him.  gamer tag :   DRz FiNEsT34

is there a way to report someone whom you haven't played with online?  they then wouldn't be selectable as per usual to file a complaint against.

Being that we roll in numbers at 2o2p, we have some serious firepower to police xblive.  This is all presuming we act as an action committee bent on the righteous way.

Yours in the fight,

your dear friend,

and so on.... Ryan

I actually hate the fact that you're forced to play public matches so you can unlock the shit in the game. This wouldn't be so much an issue if I didn't have to play public, if we could play private then 2o2p people wouldn't be doing this shit.

Although I completely disagree with the "Glitch" banning or even complaints. It's just how I see something "IN A GAME" as opposed to indigenous Modding or Hacking, there is a big difference. It's the Geek in me. But I personally dislike ganging up on someone because you're not Man or Woman enough to stand up to what you are doing even more. aka; Bullying. Tank has a excellent point and Idea. We should all play together. Not to the point of "Banning" or penalty, but if other members are online playing the same game, there shouldn't be a reason to go public unless you want to. Just a thought.

just a tip on the whole banning thing, as per Stepto they don't blindly ban, they investigate and if they observe the player and if they are glitching as an attempt to gain an advantage, they get the ban, if they watch you and you don't cheat, they don't ban you.....and it only takes one complaint, even if you get 500 complaints against you, if they don't see it, they don't ban you. it really is a well planned system.

I enjoy recording my matches and uploading them to youtube. I caught some scumbag doing the javelin glitch and had him dead to rights on tape! I sent one of our 2o2p resident xbox live ambassadors a PM to find out who we need to contact to get him banned.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kM846gISu48 See 1:25,1:40,2:10,3:05

Fish, I have in the past spoken up and the other play stopped using the exploit, I think that it is important to try and talk to the person online. Usually you'll get shit on in return, but those are the ones whom I find it ok to report. It is important to consider that the javelin exploit on demolition match types is far more overpowered than in your normal death match. And I've been playing a Lot of demolition and bombing game types lately.

Harack, I took exception with the “Timmies” trying to “Bully” you into being quiet. I doubt my opinion on “Glitches” will ever change. Maybe I’ll post my opinion on it, it would be my first “Post” about Gaming ;)-
