LAN 2010

 So there are a few things I learned in Chicago. 

1. FUCKING MOSQUITOES!!! (pretty self explanatory) We have tons of mosquitoes here in Okc, but with it being so damned hot here they are nearly nonexistent at this point. I got barraged by these bastards while eating dinner Friday night.

2. Deer... I wouldn't have thought I would see so many deer in the woods that are right by the hotel. Also, they are totally not afraid of you. I got stared down by some buck while I went jogging by imagining some episode of When Animals Attack... "Jon Ownbey was just a gamer on vacation in Chicago. He went for an innocent run with no idea what the wildlife of Chicago's forest had in mind for him." (read that in some serious dramatic news anchor's voice)

3. Refer to #1. Apparently the shade of the forest is where these little six legged, winged vampire beasts lay in wait for hapless victims during the middle of the day.
