For those who don't know, there is a process to getting the photo I have included in this blog. After using the in-game photo mode to take the picture, it must be loaded to your "storefront". This is where you post not only pics but individual vinyl designs, fully painted cars designs, tuned car builds and such. To catch another players eye, each one has a description to extol its virtues. Just don't try to use foul language. The post will be deemed "innappropriate language" and cleared. You will have to try again. This is what happened when I tried to describe the pictured Toyota Trueno.
"It isn't easy being green" was flagged as inappropriate.
I'm like "huh?!" Does a certain frog have a copyright on the phrase? What did I say wrong?
So I entered each individual word, one at a time, as a description. No problems. Next, enter the full phrase but add one more word each time. Everything was copa until the whole phrase was in. So I tried once more, this time just entering "being green". Yup. Inappropriate. My only conclusion is that developers Turn 10 studios are not exactly fans of the environmental movement. I guess the Chevy Volt and Nissan Leaf will not be in the upcoming Forza 4.
Mind you this happened once before. During the latest winter Olympics, you could enter the words "gold" and "Canada". You could not, however, enter them next to each other. That would be inappropriate.
Have a wonderful day.
