Aero settings are fixed to the levels above. Everything else is open and tunable.

 

We will have a shakedown on the 18th, season to start on 25th August

Tracks:

25th Aug - LeMans La Sarthe (with Chicanes) 25 laps (Enduro) - Completed

1st Sep - Nurburgring GP 20 laps - Completed

8th Sep - Catalunya GP 20 laps - Completed

15 Sep - Hockenheim GP 20 laps - Completed

22 Sep - Nordschleife 20 laps (Enduro) - Completed

PIT STOPS

Will be between laps 5 and 13 ALL pit stops have to be done in this window.

HANDICAPS

I will be trying a new system pitstops as handicaps

1st,2nd and 3rd will all have an extra pitstop added to their race have to finish 6th or lower to lose a pitstop.

 

POINTS

1st 30

2nd 25

3rd 20

4th 10

5th 9

6th 8

7th 7

8th 6

9th 5

etc

GP tracks are good.

LeMans & Nordschleiffe are fantastic.

Aero settings . . . not good but will comply.

Opels have distinct advantage at LeMans.  By about 2 seconds per lap.

I'll try this out myself this weekend. If it were an issue and Gizzie wanted to, the aero could always be either ramped up on the Opel, or dialled down on the others for le mans. I would imagine its just the high speed aspect that does it on le mans.

Opel gets up to 180mph faster than the other two and stays at 184 mph for a few seconds before having to brake for Playstation Chicane (1st Chicane).

Mercedes just touches 184 mph before braking for PSC.

Audi just touches 183 mph before braking for PSC.

Opel is lighter by about 5% and has lower amount of down force which MAY (or may not, there's no easy way to verify this) translate into less drag.  It was the only car that I could achieve under 3:50 so far (about 4~6 laps trial in each car).

That was my preliminary finding; I'll do more runs to verify the initial lap times.

try  the astra with the aero all the way on grd, but i dont think that will help just get in and out of the corners better i will do some testing tom night

Team DBBQ Racing will be competing in Audi A4.  I will be doing more Opel testing tonight (default downforce & max downforce) as well as Audi tune trials.

audi @ 3.48.595

merc @ 3.49.392

they were the builds in the garage

Holy moly, gizziegod; those are awesome lap times.  Just barely managed 3:48.9 in Audi last night.  Good car.
