Well I took a few weeks off from Halo art. I was getting a bit burned out on it to be honest. But Im back in the saddle so to speak. :lol: Some of you may have been following the exploits of the comic book style adventures of the Section 3 crew. Its an on going Halo 3 based comic story created using still shots captured from actual game play and then cartoonized in photoshop and dialogue added. Its created by a fellow 2old2play member V10L3N7_JAY.

Missed last week, sorry about that people. Lots of colds and viruses attacked the Bat cave last week. Son has pink eye in both eyes, daughter has double ear infection and is still on antibiotics that are making her throw up, Bat-woman has a cold and me, I finished my antibiotics for a upper respiratory infection and now I only have a soar throat that when I swallow feels like some one is shoving a porcupine down my throat! :!: Everyone told me how difficult having kids would be. None of them were even close! :lol: Actually everything is fine during the summer.

As promised waaaaaaay back when, here is the finished painting of Cortana and the Gravemind. The pencil rendering of this piece was back in week 2 of my Halo art posts if you want to scroll back through through the blog to compare. There was a real mix of opinions as to what direction to take the final colored piece. Lots of you liked the sexy more "victim" look and others the more "evil" possessed look. There was also opinions on what size the Gravemind should be large or smaller to not overpower Cortana in the piece.

Its Friday and Im going to keep trying to post up new work every week. However, since Halo 3 is now out and not "new" anymore Ill be adding other subject matter to my posts besides Halo. Although Im sure there will continue to be an emphasis on Halo based pieces. because there are still a number of the pieces I did before launch that I didn't finish. I will be trying to finish most of them and will post them as they get completed. Also there is the multi page collaboration Im working on with Darth Cestual that will be coming down the pike as well soon. :-)

Well its finally here! WWWOOOOTTT!!! Nobody is probably going to see or read this today since they will be glued to their 360's fragging and pwning in Halo 3!!! WWOOOTTT!! As promised a special launch day art posting today. Then Im off to pick up my own copy of the game and start betraying friends and clanmates and getting my ass owned by noobs and timies! :lol: :lol: I cant wait :-) I was going to do the midnight thing last night. But after playing our H2 tribute it was about 11:45pm and I realized...Im an old fat fuck and I need my freaking sleep!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
