What is this?

So there's some web site that sems to store audition tapes for people, or something like that.  I am not familiar with this site, but they are having a contest to become a jedi for something.  They also have a video called "nerf herder".

I'm sorry I don't have more info, to be honest with ya - the web site is too dark for me to see all the info.

The Toadies - best band you never heard of

One of the best bands you may never have heard of is the Toadies from Texas (Ft Worth, I think). I met these guys way back in 1995-96ish and they were down to earth and cool people. I always thought their music rocked... then they just sort of fell off the face of the earth...

To do list

I just found something to add to my to do list;  Get all my clocks on the same time.  I found that between the 10+ clocks we have in this house, there seems to be a 12 minute difference between some of them.  The only clock I trust, besides my cell phone, is the sattelite clock upstairs.  That time in my house always seems to be slow... but it's actually the right time. 

Just thought I'd share that.

Playing with CliffyB

So I was surprised at how underwhelming the response was for possibly playing with CliffyB (Lead Designer) yesterday on Gears of War's Energence Day.  I'll admit, I actually tried to play with Dave Mustaine (Megadeth) yesterday - but no luck.  I eventually ended up playing many MP games with friends - which was cool - because it takes a while to get a feel for this game in MP.

One more week

Joseph's mom's lawyer was sick yesterday - so we have him for a few more days.  I kinda look at it as a birthday gift to myself from the county.  The situation when it gets to court is that she will be trying to get back all 3 of her kids to take care of alone - as her husband has left and moved away.  He stopped visiting him 2 months ago for whatever reason.  We'll see how it goes.

Goodbye Joseph?

While I am all psyched about gears of war finally being released, I have something that is bringing me down.  Me and my fiancé are foster parents, and we have 2 kids right now.  They are both 2 years old.  Matthew has been with us since March 17th and it seems he will be with us for a long time.  His parents have a lot of problems and they’re not getting any better, so we may even adopt him.  Joseph has been with us since August

I'm not mad that many people seem to have gotten a one day head start on THE game of the year...

I'm not mad that today was my day off and tomorrow I will be working...

I'm not mad that EB games will get their delivery of the game as I leave for work...

I'm not mad that I won't be home until 12am PST to play the game...

Late Night is NOT good

I should paint the picture of where I am at to start this blog… I have had a fantatsic YOUTUBE night with me and my girl.  She likes the old stuff, so I tell her about youtube and we start searching for stuff…. A few martinis and were high on life and music… it takes away from the shit that’s really happening… we are probably going to be moving soon…. It’s hard cuz we have 2 foster children….
