I was never really a punk rocker, but I really got into Henry Rollins when I was young. The dude does music, spoken word performances, movies, has a publishing company... he's also total straight-edge and his only vices are caffeine and being reall, really angery all the time.

Everyone has lost someone in their life.  My ex-wife had her boyfriend shoot himself in the head on a bridge in Iowa somewhere before we met... she said this album helped her.  She was right.  When I was in the Army I lost a few friends.  This is for anyone who has lost someone - I recommend a few drinks of choice and listening to this entire album - this is just one song...

Red Hot Chili Peppers are definitely MY generation... I can't remember a time when I didn't have at least one RHCP album.  They've been through a lot, I've been through a lot... Their music has evolved, I have evolved.  When I hear the old songs, I remember my youth... I also still have the videotape that these are ripped from:-)
