First - I would like to share the exclusive-looking EB games card from the Gears of War event.  I didn't actually go last night, I got it today because I made a decision... a decision about Phantasy Star Universe...

2O2P-MK - a squad from this web site... and also the squad I am in - is now in 1st place. Here's the proof. There are 20 people on the squad, and some played a lot more than others. I was not someone who played daily, however, I tried to do my part.  I would list all the squad members, but I can't rememeber them all, and I don't want to forget anyone :-)

These are the last pictures I have of the Rammstein concert. The first is an article from the SF Chronicle - please look at the picture. Then - notice I seem to have taken a picture at roughly the same time as the Chronicle photographer. Cool, eh?

Also - read my editorial in the news section... Children, Parents, and Electronic Media. I know, it's a lot of words, but trust me, it's worth the read. I got an adrenaline rush when I checked my email and codemonkey said it was up.

It should be no secret by now that I have chosen the month of October as THE month to get hits on my blog.  I have pulled out all the stops to see what people like.  I want hits and bookmarks.  So far I had one person bookmark me, then it was erased along with his own blog entries.  So - I'm still working on bookmarks, however.  I am also not ashamed to try what works for other people.  Whose blog am I imitating now:

That was the gimmick in this tour - the flaming jacket - that we got to see. Some of the pyrotechnics couldn't be used in the small venue. Maritime Hall - SF if you're interested.

Okay - so I seem to have successfully grown my blog and alienated everyone within a week.  I started with some pics I had taken a few years back, letting people guess them.  Great plan, but I can't find some of the pics I want to post.  Didn't get a lot of feedback on that -  though I saw some people post I had not interacted (?) with before.  As soon as I moved onto musicians - even with some really solid clues, I get Tito Puenta and Sheila E.  At least people knew who she is. 

Man - this is taking forever.  I simply want someone to guess who this important figure is in latin music, 80's music, and (another hint) my town.
