So...I take care of this little elderly lady.  She's come under the weather for the past couple of weeks.  I think she's slowly shutting down.  I won't even tell you about that roller coaster.  One day, she's great...looking up.  The next day, she can't hold her own spoon.  Oh wait, I just told you about it.  haha

So...some things gave me a hang up on getting a new guitar.  I was trying to sell my old one so that I could get a Semi-hollow body guitar.  Well...I sold the guitar, but then my work got complicated as the little elderly lady I take care of, ended up in the hospital...which severely hindered my money flow...which meant I needed to be more frugal about what I spent money on.

I'm a whopping 29 years old. 

I have nothing remarkable to do today...gotta work.  Maybe I should have taken the day off...that would have been cool.

However, my new acoustic guitar should be here today...that will be fun!

I think 29 will be a cool year!  We'll see.

UGH - I have been trying to sell my drums for like 3 months.  I have put them in the paper, I have put them on Craigslist, went to the HS (my old band teacher posted a flyer), and I even posted on Facebook.  (Just to see if anyone knew someone that was interested, or had a kid that wanted drums)

It's frustrating, I don't have room for them (stored or put up), plus I have my grandpa's Gretsch set to restore.

My niece turns 4 this weekend, and we got the kids a swing set...I can't wait to play on it with her!

One of my best friends lives next door to my place of employment...and tonight I stopped by because she wanted to give back some books she borrowed...she's a hair dresser and started fingering my hair...and starts laughing and says I have gray hair!

I'm only turning 29 in a week...I cannot have gray hair...so she pulled one out from the side of my head...it's not gray...it's WHITE!!!

In my almost 29 years of existence...I've never felt the need for one...but today, I needed it.  I woke up feeling bleh...

SO, I called in sick.  This is a little bit harder when you work for a little old lady and she still needs someone to take care of her...luckily, I'm not the only help she has.

I enjoyed my Mental Health Day.  I think my sister/roommate thought I was sick.  But, I wasn't.  I cleaned, and played video games, and watched the last 5 episodes of "Legend of the Seeker" that I've missed...(DVR can be so nice sometimes!)
